Outcrop Silver, One of the Highest Grade Silver Projects Globally

Outcrop Silver, One of the Highest Grade Silver Projects Globally

Ian Harris, President and CEO of Outcrop Silver and Gold, provides an update at PDAC on their high-grade silver project in Colombia. Following a successful 2024 drilling campaign that tested targets across their 17.5 km trend. With 37 million ounces already in resource at 650 g/t in the north, Harris outlines a strategy to efficiently grow towards 100 million ounces, leveraging a disciplined approach of mapping, sampling, trenching, and drilling to derisk and add value at low cost, supported by a planned resource update by Q1 2026.

Beyond resource growth, Harris discusses a dual pathway: continuing to add ounces while exploring a small-scale pilot production with Colombian government support, as seen in talks at Tolima. This pilot aims to prove metallurgy, mining techniques, and profitability—potentially fast-tracked to late 2025—while building local capacity and community trust. With 24,000 meters of drilling planned for 2025 (up from 14,000-15,000 in 2024), Outcrop balances resource expansion and greenfield testing, capitalizing on silver’s bullish outlook and their position as a high-grade, primary silver play, all while maintaining financial discipline and steady news flow.
